The Committee on Government Organization moved to amend the bill on page two, section four, beginning on line thirty-two, by striking out the words “may not receive an annual salary or any compensation beyond” and inserting in lieu thereof the following words “shall receive the same compensation for attending official meetings or engaging in official duties not to exceed the amount paid to members of the legislature for their interim duties as recommended by the Citizens Legislative Compensation Commission and authorized by law. Appointed members may receive”.
